What is Automated Provisioning?

Automated Provisioning, also known as Automated User Provisioning, is the process of automatically creating, managing, and removing user accounts and access permissions across an organization's systems and applications. Instead of manually assigning access, organizations use predefined rules, templates, and workflows to ensure users receive the right level of access based on their roles and responsibilities.

How does it work?

Imagine a company is onboarding a new employee who needs access to different applications and resources to do their day-to-day work. The employee's access should match their role and responsibilities.
